Kadhai Paneer Recipe Step-by-Step
Introduction:
Kadhai Paneer is a popular North Indian curry, loved for its spicy and aromatic flavor. The dish is made using fresh paneer cubes, crunchy capsicum, onions, tomatoes, and a freshly ground spice mix called Kadhai Masala. This restaurant-style recipe is perfect to serve with naan, roti, or jeera rice.
Ingredients:
Paneer Masala ke liye
- 250g Paneer (cubes)
- 1 Shimla Mirch (cut into cubes)
- 3 Tamatar (puree)
- 2 Pyaz (sliced)
- 2 Hari Mirchi (slit)
- 1tbsp Adrak-Lahsun
- 3 tbsp Oil/Ghee
- Namak- as per taste
Dry Kadhai Masala
- 2 tbsp Dhaniya seeds
- 3 Sukhi Laal Mirch
- 5-6 Kali Mirch
Powder Masale
- ½ tsp Haldi
- 1 tsp Lal Mirch powder
- 1 tsp Garam Masala
- 1 tsp Kasuri Methi (crushed)
(Step-by-Step Method)
Step 1 : Kadhai Masala ready kare
- Pan me dhaniya seeds, sukhi laal mirch, aur kali mirch ko halka bhunein.
- Thanda hone par coarsely grind kar le.
- Kadhai me oil garam karein, pyaz dal ke golden hone tak bhunein.
- Adrak-Lahsun paste dal ke 1 minute bhunein.
- Tamatar puree dal ke 5-6 minute cook karein jab tak oil alag na ho.
- Haldi, lal mirch powder, namak aur freshly prepared Kadhai masala dalen.
- 1-2 minute roast karein.
- Shimla mirch and hari mirchi dal ke 2-3 minute cook karein (crunchy rahni chahiye).
- Paneer cubes gently mix karein.
- Garam Masala and kasuri methi dalen.
- 2-3 minute dhak ke sim gas par cook karein.
- Hara dhaniya dal ke serve karein.
